“Rise Of Skywalker,” the last movie of the new Star Wars trilogy, was my favorite out of the three new movies. The way the actors seemed more engaged and animated than in the last movies, making you believe that they really were people in a galaxy far, far away. At times it felt as though you were a part of the movie. The story was fast at times so a viewer has to pay attention. It was one of those movies that will make you laugh and cry at the same time; bring tissues, you’re going to need them.
I think that the character who was best played was Kylo Ren, who is played by Adam Driver. He did an amazing job of portraying the emotions of his character in the movie-making decisions. The one character that I think should have had a larger role then she did was Rose, played by Kelly Marie Tran. I think that they should have used Rose more than they did because she was an amazing help to Fin in “The Last Jedi,” and she could have been an amazing help in “The Rise Of Skywalker.”
One of the reasons this was my favorite is how they tied up the loose ends, answering all the questions the previous movies did not. Not only did they tie up loose ends, but the special effects also took the movie to the next level. At times, it felt like you could reach out and feel the water splash on your hand. More than once, when blasters were firing, I thought it was going to rip through the screen and hit me!
In my opinion, “Rise Of Skywalker” was a huge success. I would suggest seeing it in theatres, but I will definitely be buying it when it’s out on DVD. It is my favorite in the newest trilogy, and you must see it yourself to fully experience it.
